Batman Stalks the T-dot

Viral video alert: Batman is on the Hogtown prowl. In a new YouTube video that was uploaded over the weekend, a dude dressed up in a Batman costume walks around the city of Toronto looking for bad guys to fight and beef jerky that can easily be opened. It's not often that you find yourself thanking the stars above that cosplay exists but this is definitely one of those rare cases:



It has been reported that the real identity of this Batman is Toronto comedian/busker Alex Brovedani with the video being produced by Sean Ward of Harth TV. Toronto Batman can be found on Twitter (@TorontoBatman) and a new video with him is expected to show up in the next week (and reportedly features appearances by the Joker and the Penguin).

(Editor's note: on Halloween in 2004 my then-girlfriend and now-wife watched two immaculately costumed and spectacularly drunk men dressed up as The Riddler and Two-Face beat the snot out of each other outside Amsterdam Brewery over a girl named "Sheri" until Two-Face pushed The Riddler over and he knocked himself out on a newspaper box so I've kind of been waiting for Bats to show up for a good 8 years or so)
