BRIAN COX in Lead to play Villain in Fantasy M.A.S.K. Feature Film Casting Poll

Attention M.A.S.K. fans! There are 22 days left in the August fantasy casting poll conducted by the stalwart crusaders at this blog (or @maskmovie on twitter). Would-be M.A.S.K. feature film screenwriters Jason G and WB are asking fellow M.A.S.K. fans to vote on who they think would be perfectly cast as the evil Miles Mayhem - leader of V.E.N.O.M. - for a live-action film adaptation of the ‘80s animated series/toy line whose tagline was, ‘illusion is the ultimate weapon.’ Thus far, the fan favourite seems to be Brian Cox!

In a July poll, James Marsden was selected by fans to play Brad Turner in a film that the writing duo hope to pitch to Hollywood, should Hollywood be interested in making a film that combines the key aspects of both G.I. Joe AND Transformers - both hugely popular and successful properties. And as everybody knows, awesome + awesome = DOUBLE AWESOME.

For the uninitiated, M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand) was basically about a special task force of dudes who wore special masks or helmets and drove cars or rode motor-bikes that TRANSFORMED INTO PLANES AND HELICOPTERS AND BOATS. They fought the forces of V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem), led by Miles Mayhem... hold on, is that really what the bad guys call themselves?

Anyways, Miles Mayhem drives a helicopter that can turn into a jet.
