I Love YouTube: The Worst Movie Scenes of All Time

If there's one thing that cinephiles love more than watching a great filmic masterpiece it's suffering through an absolutely terrible, unwatchable, embarrassingly bad garbage movie that should probably never have been made. Seriously... consider how much mileage movie snobs get out of trashing a bad movie vs. extolling the merits of a film of any worth - they're not called snobs for nothing. Hell, all you need to do is read the comments section of any, ANY movie review site and you'll see that bad filmmaking stirs up a passion that is pretty well unmatched by that of good or skillful filmmaking. Which is simultaneously hilarious and sad, but what can you do?

With this in mind we pay tribute this week to one of or favourite YouTube series 'The Worst Movie Scenes of All Time,' created by Watercooler Films. As the title might suggest, this 56 episode series focuses on a particularly awful segment of a film of questionable value (many of which seem to feature Steven Seagal). Yes, these scenes are taken completely out of context which is maybe a little unfair, but one can't deny that the depth of terribleness these scenes sink to speaks for the film as a whole. Take some time out of your busy afternoon and fill your eyes and brain with these laughably awful examples of 'professional' filmmaking. Enjoy!
