Teens 'n' Tweens: Bieber Movie

Amanda, our sister & resident teens 'n' tween cinema expert, is sick. Sick with the fever. Fever for the Bieber: 

 

thesubstream: How'd you like the Bieber movie?

Amanda: Oh… man, I feel like I drank the Bieber Kool-Aid. I like the Bieber.

tss: You got that Bieber fever? 

A: Bad.

tss: Did you have it before you saw the Bieber movie?

A: No, I didn't, because he's 16 and that's gross! But I kinda got the Bieber fever now. He's so good. 

tss: OK, let's, let's talk this through. Let's work this out together. Calm down.

A: I need to go to Bieber rehab. He's just a plucky, good lookin' long-eyelash kid that could magically play the drums when he was three.

tss: OK wait, what is the movie, first of all. Is it just called "Bieber"?

A: It's called Justin Bieber: Never Say Never 3D. It's concert footage, home videos, interviews with people, screaming teenage girls on their feet, running after him, tears on their faces, everyone talking about how amazing he is…

tss: The footage of him when he was three… is that in 3D?

A: No, there's not much 3D in the movie I don't think. I think they had one camera at a New York Concert so when he reaches out to the audience at an emotional part of the song it's like he's reaching right out into the theatre… for your heart. Dreamy.

tss: If you were gonna go on a date with Bieber, what do you think you would do?

A: Probably we'd go on a rollercoaster or something. He seems really hyper.

tss: And just for the record, you don't have to say exactly how old you are but… how old are you. 

A: I'm at least 10 years older than Bieber.

tss: And you love him.

A lot. 

tss: So you'd recommend the movie to your Teens 'n' Tweens followers?

A: Yeah definitely. Also especially because there's one part where Jaden Smith comes on screen and the title on screen says "Jaden Smith: Karate Expert".

tss: Awesome.

A: Yeah.
