thesubstream BEAT: December 5, 2011
Hey everyone! It's Monday December 5th and you know what that means? It's time for thesubstream BEAT! Last week we had lots of awesome stuff like:
- TWO 2 Minute Critics. In the 1st, Halfyard discusses one of the year's most curious films, The Artist. Then in the 2nd 2 Minute Critic, Matthew Price tells us why he did not love My Week With Marilyn but didn't hate it either. - In Watch This instead, Mike checked out Shame and he recommends it to anyone who likes looking at handsome dude face and butt a lot. - The Film Lab showed you show how to unbox and put together a fig rig for your DSLR's. That and lots more we had last week so check it out if you've missed anything! This week we have another action packed week full of film stuff so make sure to stay tuned on everything we've got coming up! This week in the The Film Lab, Rajo and Mike will be showing you how to use a Jib Arm to get steady swoopy shots. They will also show you more on the Ladder Dolly DIY Project. Keep checking back for updates on that! Then we've got lots of reviews this week like Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin, The Artist, The Sitter, Into the Abyss and New Years Eve. You'll see all of those on 2 Minute Critic and Watch This Instead. In the DVD/Blu Ray Shed, we'll be talking The Hangover Part II, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy, The Help, a couple of new Criterions plus more! Let us know if you want to be a guest reviewer on our DVD/Blu Ray Shed and we'll feature you in our next one! This weeks I Love YouTube is all about Extreme Christmas Decorations just in time for the holidays! Watch out for that and more this week on thesubstream. Don't forget to sign up to our forum and talk about all things film! - Tara
