thesubsteam BEAT: November 28, 2011

Hey all! Tara here and its that time again... Time for another edition of thesubstream BEAT! You thought last week was action packed on our site? Just wait to see what we've got coming up this week because it might just blow your minds, with action packing.

This week we have Film Lab Gear Guide - the Fig Rig - all kinds of whys, whats and whens re: the neatest and simplest camera-stabilization rig around, as well as an important ladder-related update to our up-to-now stalled homemade dolly project.

In the DVD/Blu Ray Shed, we'll be talking The Smurfs, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Idiot Abroad, Final Destination 5, Our Idiot Brother, and possibly the most exciting release of the week: Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Bottom Line on the Most Popular Superstar of All Time, plus more, so stay tuned for that!

This weeks new releases include the highly anticipated Shame which you might just see in Watch This Instead! Then we also have a new 2 Minute Critic of My Week With Marilyn by Matt Price, and some stuff about the sneakiest Oscar bait of the season - The Artist. So you definitely want to keep an eye out for that!

In I Love Youtube, we'll show you that Birds heads are weird as hell. That's it, really, on that front.

Plus, the studio's been rocked recently by some super secret rumblings re: the start of set construction on a very secret substream affiliated project...
