thesubstream BEAT: Oct. 31

Hey y'all! It's Tara here for another edition of thesubstream BEAT! It's Hallowe'en and I had quite the spooky-ass October, to say the least. I went to Halloween Haunt, Screemers, attended a party where I dressed up as Sookie from True Blood (Vampire Bill was with me as well) and our own Amanda (starma) was the hot mess that is Ke$ha! I also made delicious Halloween treats, carved a spooky pumpkin and all of it was... incredibly awesome.

It's sad that the month is already over but next year will be even awesomer. To set the mood for Halloween, I want to know what horror flick you recommend watching on this ghoulish night! Comment on here and let me know! (Ed. note: the answer is Puppetmaster)

So we've got lots of stuff coming up again for you this week: first up we've got the DVD/Blu Ray Shed in which we will be talking about the releases of Cars 2, Crazy Stupid Love, Water for Elephants, Trespass, a Midnight Madness favourite, Bunraku and a certain '80s movie about a handsome man in Australia with a really special gun.

Next we have the New Theater Releases and MAMO's Matt Price reviewing the Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy's comedy Tower Heist then Mike will be reviewing the stoner duo Harold and Kumar's latest journey A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas!

Start practising your epic air guitar solos and get your goth makeup out because in this week's I Love YouTube we will be getting death metally.

In The Film Lab, we will be talking about how to make your night shoots look like night so you definitely won't want to miss that!
