September 2011 - March 2012 SERIES: Canadian Open Vault - Hard Core Logo Possibly Bruce McDonald’s most celebrated film, Hard Core Logo(1996) is now widely considered a Canadian classic. The subject is the disastrous reunion tour of a fabled punk band, which spins out of control as a result of lies, delusions, ambition, betrayal and psychosis. Hard Core Logo will be presented in a new print and be accompanied by a monograph about the film by Paul McEwan, co-published by TIFF and the University of Toronto Press. Reel Talk Reel Talk is the popular Sunday morning subscription series showcasing the best in new releases from around the world.
