There's a few technical differences between Canon DSLR EF-mount lenses and cinema industry-standard PL mount film lenses, and that difference is usually more than reflected in the price. With Canon's two versions of its new C300 camera, people are excited about using their EF lenses, but shooting video with still lenses can cause some problems when racking focus. Mike explains what the dealio is, and an easy-peasy way to avoid it.
